Wrinkle Relief with Dermal Fillers |
The skin's natural ageing process manifests as contour changes and wrinkling caused by depletion of subcutaneous fat, dermal collagen and elastin. The result is a loss of volume in the face with hollowness around the eyes and upper cheeks, as well as formation of frown lines in the forehead. The lips also tend to loose volume with age.
An innovative way to compensate for this breakdown of support structure and restore youth and fullness is to inject dermal fillers into the skin. These fillers are used to plump up wrinkles, creases and sunken areas of the face and to add fullness to the cheeks and lips. Certain types of depressed acne scars can also be filled with dermal fillers.
Dermal fillers are also ideal for hand rejuvenation. A simple treatment restores the volume in the back side of the hands that we tend to loose with age.
